Delete your Crease account
Do it in the app, or by email without the app.
Delete in the app
- Open Crease and check you're online.
- Go to Profile.
- Tap Delete account at the bottom.
- Read the message and tap Delete.
- You're logged out and see "Your account was deleted".
If you scored matches without internet, the app uploads them first, so the other team's scorecard is complete.
Delete without the app
Email creasesport@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Crease account".
Write the mobile number, or the Google or Apple email, that you log in with. If you can, send it from that email.
We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. We delete it within 7 days and reply when it's done.
What is deleted
- Your login: mobile number, password, and the link to Google or Apple. You're logged out on every phone.
- Your profile: name, gender, city, playing role, batting and bowling style.
- Your photos: your profile photo and your player photo.
- Your player code.
- Mobile numbers linked to your player.
- Login records: your SMS and WhatsApp login code requests.
- Your follows: the players and tournaments you follow.
- Messages and reports you sent us.
What stays
Cricket is a team game, so a match belongs to everyone who played it. These stay:
- Matches, teams and tournaments you created or played in. Other players' scorecards, stats and points tables need them.
- In them, your player becomes "Deleted player", in the app and on this website. Your runs, wickets and catches stay so the totals are right, but your name, city and photo are removed.
- Nobody can find, claim or link that "Deleted player" again.
- Matches, teams and tournaments you created can no longer be changed by anyone.
A phone that saved a match earlier may show your old name until the app refreshes.
Remove more
Want a match, team or tournament you created removed too, or anything else? Email creasesport@gmail.com and say what. We reply within 7 days.
To change only some details, like your photo or city, edit your profile in the app. You don't need to delete your account for that.
Good to know
- Deleting can't be undone.
- Logging in again later with the same number or account starts a new, empty profile. Old stats don't come back.
- Uninstalling the app doesn't delete your account. It only removes the data saved on that phone.
- Just want a break? Log out from Profile instead. Your account stays.
- Never logged in? Your matches are only on your phone. Uninstall the app or clear its data to remove them.
