Terms of use
Last updated: 2 November 2026
These are the rules for using the Crease app and this website. Please read them. They're short and in plain words.
1. Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Crease. By using the Crease app or this website, you agree to them and to our Privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Crease.
2. Who can use Crease
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- If you're under 18, use Crease only with your parent's or guardian's permission.
- Use one account for yourself, with true details. Don't pretend to be someone else.
3. Your account
- Keep your phone, password and login codes safe. Never share a login code with anyone, even if they say they're from Crease. That includes codes for logging in on the website.
- On a shared computer, log out of the website when you're done.
- You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- If you think someone else got into your account, change your password and email us.
4. Players, teams and player codes
- Add a person as a player only if they're happy to be added. Their name shows on scorecards, in the app and on this website.
- Enter someone's mobile number only with their permission. It's used only to link the player to them when they log in.
- Your player code lets others add you to a team. Share it only with people you trust.
- Don't create fake players or teams to mislead others or to change stats.
5. Scores and stats
- Scores, stats and results in Crease are entered by the scorer. They aren't official records.
- The scorer is responsible for scoring fairly and correctly.
- Crease doesn't decide disputes about scores, results or rules. Settle those with your team or organiser.
6. Tournaments and auctions
- Organisers are responsible for their tournament: its rules, fixtures, entry fees and prizes.
- Points in a Crease player auction are only for picking teams. No real money changes hands through Crease.
- Any real fees, prizes or payments are between the organiser and the players. Crease isn't part of them.
7. What you add
- You own the names, photos and scores you add.
- You let Crease store, copy and show them, free of charge, to run Crease: for example, showing scores, scorecards and tournaments in the app and on this website, where anyone can see them.
- Only upload photos you took yourself or have the right to use.
- Scorecards are shared with every player in the match, so they stay after you delete your account. See Delete account.
8. What's not allowed
- Anything illegal.
- Using Crease for betting or gambling, or match-fixing.
- Harassing, bullying, threatening or abusing anyone.
- Hateful, sexual, violent or offensive names, words or photos.
- Pretending to be another person, team or organisation.
- Adding other people's phone numbers or photos without their permission.
- Spam, or collecting other users' data.
- Hacking, overloading or copying the app or its data, or getting around its access rules.
9. Reports and what we do
- To report a player, team or tournament, tap ••• → Report on it in the app, or email creasesport@gmail.com.
- You can also block it. Blocking hides it on your phone only.
- We check reports. We may remove photos or names, rename a player or team, or suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms, with or without warning.
10. Ads
Crease is free and shows ads from Google AdMob. We don't make the ads and aren't responsible for what they offer. To report a bad ad, email us.
11. Crease's name and app
The Crease name, logo, app and website belong to us. Don't copy them or use the name or logo without our permission. Sharing screenshots of your own scores is fine.
12. The service
- Crease is given "as is". We work hard to keep it running, but it may sometimes have errors, be slow or be unavailable.
- Saving and live scores need internet. A match scored offline is saved only on your phone until it uploads, so it can be lost if the phone is lost first.
- We may add, change or remove features, or stop Crease. If we stop it, we'll try to tell you in advance.
13. Our responsibility
As far as the law allows, Crease isn't responsible for:
- lost data, wrong scores or stats, or disputes about matches;
- anything that happens at a match or tournament, including injuries, fees and prizes;
- losses from betting or gambling;
- services run by others, such as Google, Apple, Supabase and SMS providers;
- indirect losses, such as lost profits.
If someone makes a claim against Crease because of what you added or did on Crease, you agree to cover the cost of it.
14. Ending
You can stop using Crease any time and delete your account. We may suspend or end your account if you break these terms, or if the law requires it.
15. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If you keep using Crease after that, you agree to the new terms.
16. Law
These terms follow the laws of India. Any dispute goes to the courts of India.
